The sapele wood outdoor bench has brass hardware for suspension of its seat back. This allows a low profile flexible seat back that has great lumbar support.
The design was implemented to use shorter pieces of reclaimed wood. As a result the laminated frame and legs are joined with mortise and tenon joints to allow long gentle curves with shorter pieces of wood.
The wood is sealed with a satin matte exterior finish with UV protection to slow graying.
